Astral projection, often called astral travel, out of body experiences and even Lucid Dreaming, has been discussed and investigated for hundreds of years. Some so called gurus claim the journey though the astral plane is fraught with dangers from beings of unknown origin. Yet it is possible to meet others, those we have known in the past and those we have yet to meet and talk to them person to person, without fear. If you are lucky, you might also meet your Spirit Guide, acquire ancient knowledge or even increase your psychic abilities. This article will examine how to move through the astral plane and meet and talk with others on the astral plane, in a safe and enjoyable environment.

When you first arrive on the astral plane, many are fearful of what they will find. Various authors have imposed fears of evil and monstrous beings waiting to attack you at every turn. Always remember that nothing can harm you on this level because harm can only happen to the physical body and you are there in astral body only. Those that teach based on fear usually are being guided by something other than your best interests in mind.

You may see others that you know and those you have never met while traveling the astral plane. Usually some form of communication is possible with these people, though it may not always be in the form of speech. This is due to the differences in the vibrational levels between you and those you are attempting to speak with. Even when speech is not possible, communication can happen through telepathy or when baser functions are needed, hand signals may be used to communicate. Take some time to experiment and enjoy the moments, for often those we see have much to tell us.

Those that you meet while on the astral plane often have a specific reason for meeting us there at that point in time. Often they gives us knowledge that helps us in our earthly life or helps prepare us for what comes after this life. Many have been known to have their psychic abilities awakened while visiting the astral plane and others have received healing while there. What you learn will be a personal experience and include what you need most at that moment in time and will leave you a better person than when you arrived.

Astral Projection can lead you to a better life, a more fulfilling life where the normal up and downs of life tend to be more up than down. You have a wonderful road ahead of you. You can travel to the endless reaches of space, meet new people and learn the ancient secrets of the universe.
