Every culture and even the various denominations within each culture, tends to have a slightly different meaning/use/purpose. On top of that, many authors will phrase their terminology slightly different than another writer, causing many people to believe the list is actually different. After this has been done multiple times, we end up with lists that appear to be completely different in many cases.

It is important to realize that all the things included in this list are mere tools to help you tap into where the true power resides, inside you. One tool will work as good as another if you believe it will. At the same time, if you believe you absolutely must have a specific item for your magic to work, it will not work without that item.

The following lists have been found in ancient text and modern writings. Some of the sources are lost to history. To keep down confusion, I have simply placed them all in a single list and removed as many duplicates as I could. This should leave you with as short of a list as possible and as the same time, as complete of a list as can be.
